Abstract

At airports, luggage transport consists of different kinds of handling tasks. Large aircrafts are loaded by machine, but in smaller ones, like the DC-9, luggage is primarily handled manually all along the way from the conveyor belt coming from the checking desk to the luggage compartment of the aircraft in the airfield.
