Lupus Erythematosus and Etretinate

  • Chapter
Retinoid Therapy

Abstract

Over the last 6 years, numerous authors have reported on the efficacy of etretinate (Tigason) in the treatment of disturbances in keratinization (dermatosis in association with hyper-, para-or dyskeratosis), but also for various other dermatoses, from lichen planus to mycosis fungoides. These results were confirmed at the October 1980 meeting on retinoids.1
