Abstract

Throughout this book the phenomenon of pain has been discussed in its complexity from different perspectives. Pertinent research findings have been translated into a language that may be easily understood by the average medical and paramedical professional. Several key points that are crucial to a circular understanding of human pain have been presented and are here briefly summarized with a few closing remarks.
