Abstract
Radiology plays an essential part in the investigation and diagnosis of non-accidental injury in children (battered children). By such an examination a radiologist should be able to state that not only are certain skeletal injuries caused by non-accidental injury, but that such injuries had been caused in a certain way and are of a certain age.
