Abstract
The poster deals with the significance of biogeochemical processes for the mobilisation of wasteborne heavy metals as iron, zinc, cadmium, lead and copper during the anaerobic digestion of solid municipal wastes. Further the influence of cadmium contaminated sewage sludge, codisposed with municipal waste, on the mobility of the metals and the role of oxgen, added to the sludge, is discussed.
