Abstract

Exercise is the most physiological test available in the electrocardiographic evaluation of patients with angina pectoris. However, it has several disadvantages: it cannot be used in patients with poor exercise-tolerance; comparable haemodynamic parameters are not exactly reproduced during repeated periods of exercise.
