Abstract
The taxonomic status of Bryobiidae is characterized by the (instability and absence of a common approach to the conception of the amount of suprageneric categories. It appears to us that it would be impossible to refuse completely involving chaetoma and chaetotaxy features for the suprageneric taxonomy which reflects the structural plan of the nervous system. Following Reck (1952, 1959), we single out Bryobiidae into an independent family consisting of three subfamilies and nine tribes taking as a basis the morphological features used in the classification key below.
