Abstract
A number of questions, stimulated by formal presentations, were discussed during this workshop. They include: how can familial developmental tasks be reconciled with existing housing environments? Are some environments harmful to mental health — and its converse: can environmental change be used for therapeutic ends? How can behavioral science data and principles be used in architecture and design to benefit children?
