Abstract

The Greens-Function Monte-Carlo method is applied to the problem of three to 112 4He atoms interacting via the Aziz HFDHE2 pair potential. Energies and radii extrapolate nicely to the infinite matter values by means of liquid-drop formulas. The central density rises monotonically with mass number until it reaches the liquid saturation value and stays constant for larger masses. One-body density distributions and two-body radial distribution functions are given.
