Summary
The instrumentation part of payload, preflight laboratory calibration and experimental procedure are described. The chemiluminescent rocket instrument utilizing NO as a titration gas for measurements of atomic oxygen and ozone concentrations has been developed. The operation of the instrument is based on the registration of radiance emitted by electronically excited NO2 molecules, which are formed due to the reaction of NO with atomic oxygen or (and) ozone in the instrument reaction chanter volume.
