Abstract

Infections are an important cause of porcine embryo and fetal losses and also sows infertility in Greece. Control measures include main1y9diagnosis , treatment and prevention. The increased knowledge of the infectious aetiology of swine reproductive problems will contribute to the decrease of prenatal and perinatal mortality which represents a serious economic problem for pig farmers.
