Abstract

Neutron-capture nucleosynthesis during core He burning in massive (50≤MZAMS/M⊙≤100) mass losing stars is studied in the framework of new stellar models based on the latest available nuclear data. The resulting stellar surface abundances as well as the composition of the stellar winds corresponding to the WC phase of Wolf-Rayet stars are presented. Some implications for the isotopic composition of galactic cosmic rays are also discussed.
