Abstract
In the framework of the VIIth Strasbourg Day, held on February 6th 1986 at the Strasbourg Observatory and devoted to Planetary Nebulae (PN), a general discussion was devoted to fixing the criteria and main conditions of the production of a catalogue, which would be useful to the astronomical community, according to the recommendations of the members and Council of Commission 34 which met at the IAU General Assembly in New Delhi.
