Abstract
The metallic emission line Cal 6572.8 Å was detected as variable in intensity in the high dispersion spectra collected at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory, Victoria, Canada. The radial velocity of this line is about −35 km/s relative to the photospheric absorption lines. It indicates the existence of a gas expanding envelope around this star.
