Abstract
This paper presents a new algorithm for adaptive beamforming which is robust to both desired signal misalignment and array geometry imperfections. It extends the work done by Jab-Ion and Widrow [1] by utilizing a priori knowledge of the desired signal direction to generate new soft constraints on the pattern of the array.
