Abstract
Particularly in the Latin countries, the subject of “men and women in corporations” is a delicate one, not only when one tries to give a real picture of the present situation in Spanish corporations, but also - and even more - when one undertakes to indicate some perspectives and to make some recommendations for promoting women in corporations. Nevertheless, I will try to treat it in three steps: (1) to characterise briefly some main problems, (2) to inquire into the attitudes involved, and (3) to indicate some ways to promote women in corporations.
