Abstract
In this paper the Implementation of a speech decoder algorithm for a Pan European Mobile Radio System with the Catedral II DSP silicon compiler, is described. A comparison is made between a general purpose DSP processor implemetation and the compiled Cathedral II implementation of the decoder algorithm.
