Abstract

The resonance amplification of neutrino oscillations in a beam of neutrinos passing through the Earth is discussed. The most general case of oscillations involving the three flavour neutrinos is considered without simplifying assumptions. The T-violating asymmetry in three-neutrino oscillations in matter with constant density is discussed and it is shown that this asymmetry can be much larger than the corresponding asymmetry in vacuum oscillations.
