Abstract
Recent work has supported the link between the reforming, or brightening, coronal arcades seen by the Yohkoh soft X-ray telescope (SXT) [McAllister et al., 1992; Hanaoka et al., 1994] and CMEs, as observed by coronagraphs [Hiei, Hundhausen, and Sime, 1993; McAllister et al., 1995].
