Abstract

The paper deals with analysis of main sources, pollution agents and ways of migration of the river water contamination in the transboundary area between regions of Chernivtsi (Ukraine) and Suceava (Romania) within historical land of Bukovyna. Dynamics of the pollution agents content is analyzed in the light of monitoring of the river water quality in the cross-boundary points. The paper outlines main problems in the field and discusses possible ways of their mitigation.
