Nasale corticosteroïden worden gebruikt bij seizoensgebonden en niet-seizoensgebonden allergische rhinitis en bij de behandeling van neuspoliepen, zowel als conservatieve behandeling en als adjuvante therapie na neusbijholtechirurgie voor neuspoliepen.
