Samenvatting

Dyslexie in een ontwikkelingsstoornis die zich kenmerkt door problemen in de geschreven taal en fonologische verwerking. Vandaar de notie ‘dyslexie als taalstoornis’. In recente literatuur heeft deze gedachte echter een bredere betekenis gekregen, gemotiveerd door twee soorten onderzoek: onderzoek naar voorspellers van dyslexie en onderzoek naar mondeling taalgedrag van dyslectische kinderen en volwassenen.
