Samenvatting

Ernstige, zeldzame ziekten zijn al geruime tijd het onderwerp van genetisch onderzoek. Met de introductie van nieuwe technieken is genetisch onderzoek uitgebreid naar algemene en complexe aandoeningen, zoals dyslexie. Dit hoofdstuk zal in vogelvlucht de resultaten van dit onderzoek beschrijven en ingaan op enkele vaak gestelde vragen.
