Abstract

In this paper, we propose a hybrid duplex mode in cooperative communication, which is the hybrid of a full duplex and a half duplex at the relay. We analyze and calculate the theoretical expression of the outage probability with the decode-and-forward mode. We compare the system performance between with and without a source–destination link and we propose the way with source–destination link is better. Via the computer simulation, we found that the hybrid duplex in this paper have a lower outage probability and a better system performance.
