Abstract

The Otological Center: Manila was inaugurated on December 4, 1994 immediately after the 4th Asia Pacific Congress on Deafness which the Philippines hosted. It was initially an Affiliate Center of the International Federation of Otorhinolaryngological Societies (IFOS) — International Society of Audiology (ISA) — and Hearing International (HI) and after four years gained a Full Center status, the only one in the Philippines today.
