Abstract
Moyamoya disease was reported and named by Suzuki in 1969 [5] for the first time. From 1980 through 1985, 54 cases have been reported in Northeast China [1–4]. Forty-two of them were diagnosed by cerebral angiography and 12 patients were confirmed by autopsy.
