Abstract

High Tc superconducting (SC) active antennas are developed, which are new antennas with uses of composite properties of superconducting material properties and antenna’s structural properties. The structural SC active antennas are made of thick and thin films (Y-type). The thin films are prepared with magnetron method. As a result, improved sensitivities and directivities of SC active antennas for electromagnetic waves (9.55GHz) are experimentally confirmed. As for the detectivities, the importances of electromagnetic polarizations are stressed.
