Abstract

It has been shown that the electric field (E) vs. current density (J) characteristics in YBCO thin films can be predicted quantitatively even for extremely high magnetic field around 30T from the measured data below 10T using scaling characteristics of pinning force density and its distribution. The prediction was also compared with the well-known n-value model: E (J)=E c (J/J c)n. Temperature and magnetic field dependence of the parameters J c and n showed good agreement with the measurements.
