Abstract
As far back as in 1883, Pavlov showed in his classical work Centrifugal Nerves of the Heart that extracardial nerves can change only the current activity of the heart, but also regulate the trophism of the myocardium. In 1965, Randall, a prominent specialist in blood circulation, wrote that the heart needed nerves only for love. Thus, the study of the blood circulation function is characterized by both constant vacillation and a search for a reasonable measure in the correlation between mechanical work and the central regulation of the heart.
