Zusammenfassung

Zur Immunisierung von Versuchstieren wird bislang vor allem Freund’s Adjuvans (FA) eingesetzt. Dieses Adjuvans ist durch zahlreiche, die Versuchstiere erheblich belastende Nebenwirkungen gekennzeichnet (Amyx H.L., 1987; Broderson J.R., 1989; Claassen E. et al., 1992). Eine reizärmere Alternative stellt das Ribi-Adjuvans-System (RAS) dar (Ribi E. et al., 1985), eine metabolisierbare Öl-in-Wasser-Emulsion. Im Gegensatz zu FA verursacht RAS keine oder zumindest deutlich schwächere pathologische Veränderungen (Lipman N.S. et al., 1992)
