Zusammenfassung

Insbesondere in den letzten Jahren ist die Anzahl solcher ethnomedizinischer Publikationen, die sich vorwiegend oder ausschließlich mit den traditionellen Heilkundigen/Volksheilkundigen beschäftigen, sprunghaft angestiegen. Aus diesem Grunde kann die hier vorgelegte Zusammenstellung nur einen, z.T. von Zufällen bestimmten Ausschnitt aus der internationalen Literatur wiedergeben. Enthalten sind in der Übersicht vor allem:

    Publikationen seit 1965, die mittels “backsearch” der Literaturdienste ASCA und DIMDI erfaßt wurden

  2. b)

An annotated Bibliographie of Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.” (Garland, New York) aufgeführt sind. Mit Zustimmung der Herausgeber dieser je mehr als 1000 Arbeiten auflistenden Bibliographie wurde eine Reihe der Annotationen aus dem Englischen übertragen (bei dieser Aufgabe hat mich Julia Fischer-Ortman dankenswerterweise unterstützt) und hier abgedruckt; diese Beiträge sind mit dem Kürzel “T.M.” sowie mit dem Erscheinungsjahr des Bandes und der dort verwendeten Ordnungsnummer gekennzeichnet.
