Zusammenfassung

Der Lossen-Abbau von Hydroxamsäuren oder deren O-Acyl-Derivaten führt über mehrere Zwischenstufen zur Bildung primärer Amine. Es besteht eine enge mechanistische Verwandtschaft mit den entsprechenden Abbaureaktionen nach Hofmann und Curtius. Die präparative Bedeutung des Verfahrens ist gering, weil es in vielen Fällen versagt und gewöhnlich die Isolierung mehrerer Zwischenprodukte erfordert.
