Zusammenfassung

Die Pflegeeinrichtung erfüllt nach WHO-Kriterien alle klassischen Aspekte eines „Settings“. Gesundheitsförderung in Pflegeeinrichtungen sollte demnach ganzheitlich ansetzen und die ganze Einrichtung in den Prozess integrieren. So müssen Maßnahmen zur Förderung der Gesundheit sowohl das Personal als auch die Bewohnenden in den Blick nehmen und transparent und unter Mitwirkung aller Beteiligten geplant werden. In diesem Kapitel wird ein erster Überblick über Belastungen in der Pflege sowie die Folgen für alle Akteure gegeben. Darüber hinaus werden erste Beispiele und Forschungsergebnisse zur erfolgreichen Förderung der Gesundheit von Mitarbeitenden und Pflegebedürftigen in Pflegeeinrichtungen vorgestellt. So soll ein Einstieg und Ausblick in dieses Herausgeberwerk gelingen.
