Zusammenfassung
Spezielle Pharmakokinetik und Pharmakodynamik aufgrund der Unreife machen die medikamentöse Behandlung von Neugeborenen, insbesondere von Frühgeborenen, enorm schwierig. Dies gilt umso mehr, als es für diese Patientengruppe kaum zugelassene und konfektionierte Medikamente gibt. In diesem Kapitel wird auf die Besonderheiten der Verordnung, der Applikation und der Überwachung von medikamentöser Behandlung in der Neonatalperiode eingegangen. Eine tabellarische Übersicht zeigt Dosierungen von häufig in der Neugeborenenintensivmedizin eingesetzten Medikamenten.
