Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel werden verschiedene Konzepte der Risikoneigung, deren Messung sowie mögliche Einflussfaktoren vorgestellt. Zudem wird der Einfluss der Risikoneigung auf das Risikoverhalten von Entscheidern untersucht. Dafür werden überblicksartig zentrale Befunde ausgewählter Studien diskutiert, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf Entscheidungen im Unternehmenskontext, z. B. Gründungs- oder Investitionsentscheidungen, gelegt wird. Risikofreudige Entscheider gründen eher Unternehmen, führen risikoreichere Investitionen durch und bauen geringere Puffer in ihre Budgetplanung oder Informationsnachfrage ein. Neben der Risikoneigung wird das Risikoverhalten von Entscheidern allerdings durch eine Vielzahl weiterer Faktoren – insbesondere ihre Risikowahrnehmung – bestimmt. Aus den Ergebnissen lassen sich Konsequenzen für die Gestaltung von Entscheidungsprozessen z. B. bei Investitionen oder im Rahmen der Planung und Budgetierung able iten.
