Zusammenfassung

Die Dialektisch-Behaviorale Therapie (DBT) ist ein empirisch und theoretisch fundiertes Behandlungskonzept, das ein kognitiv-behaviorales Programm mit Elementen aus der dialektischen Philosophie und Meditationspraktiken aus dem Zen-Buddhismus verbindet und sich insbesondere bei der Behandlung von Personen mit Problemen im Bereich der Emotionsregulation bewährt hat. Davon betroffen sind vor allem Menschen mit einer Borderline-Persönlichkeitsstörung und einer dissozialen Persönlichkeitsstörung, die im forensischen Kontext häufig anzutreffen sind. Die Anwendung der DBT im Maßregelvollzug macht besondere Anpassungen erforderlich, damit die Patient*innen von der Behandlung profitieren können. In diesem Zusammenhang ergeben sich besondere institutionelle, patient*innen- und behandler*innenbezogene Voraussetzungen für die Implementierung des Konzeptes. Auch wenn sich positive Effekte in Bezug auf eigen- und fremdaggressives Verhalten sowie Strafrückfälligkeit abzeichnen, steht eine sichere Evaluation anhand von randomisiert-kontrollierten Studien noch aus.
