Zusammenfassung
Mental Health Literacy (MHL) wird im Zusammenhang mit Aufklärung beim Thema psychische Gesundheit sowie als Ressource für den Umgang mit psychischen Beeinträchtigungen und Erkrankungen diskutiert. Zunehmend werden auch junge Menschen als Zielgruppe von Angeboten und Maßnahmen zur Stärkung von MHL angesteuert. Der vorliegende Beitrag lässt sich in diesem Themen- und Handlungsfeld verorten und zielt darauf ab, zu zeigen, wie mit den mit MHL assoziierten Kenntnisse, Fähigkeiten und Einstellungen in der Forschungs- und Interventionspraxis gearbeitet wird. So wird zunächst in das MHL-Konzept, Operationalisierungen und wesentliche Konzeptbestandteile eingeführt, um eine Einordnung der darauffolgend dargelegten Erkenntnisse zu MHL-Interventionen zu ermöglichen. Abschließend werden Inhalte und Modalitäten von MHL-Interventionen, die sich an junge Menschen richten, beschrieben und entlang vorhandener Evidenznachweise diskutiert.
