Zusammenfassung
In Deutschland sind ca. 250.000 bis 280.000 Personen von M. Parkinson betroffen. Im Durchschnitt sind Patienten bei Diagnosestellung 60 Jahre alt. Mit zunehmendem Alter nimmt die Erkrankungswahrscheinlichkeit zu. Die Ursache für ein idiopathisches Parkinson-Syndrom (IPS )ist noch ungeklärt. Es spielen vermutlich eine Bandbreite unterschiedlicher Faktoren eine Rolle. Der M. Parkinson ist durch ein großes Spektrum an verschiedenen Symptomen gekennzeichnet. Sie werden in motorische-, kognitiv/psychische-, vegetative-, sensorische- und Schmerzsymptome eingeteilt.
