Zusammenfassung

Als Epilepsien und Epilepsiesyndrome ohne Altersbindung werden diejenigen bezeichnet, deren Beginn keinem typischen Lebensalter zuzuordnen ist. Die meisten Epilepsien ohne Altersbindung sind symptomatischer Genese, z. B. als Folge einer strukturellen ZNS-Pathologie. Aber auch Syndrome mit genetischen Ursachen zählen dazu. Im Folgenden werden diese Epilepsien anhand ihrer dominierenden Anfallsformen dargestellt.
