Zusammenfassung

Peer Instruction ermöglicht Lehren und Lernen im Dialog und bringt damit auch den wissenschaftlichen Dialog der Mathematik in die Lehrveranstaltung. Eigenschaften und Ziele von Peer Instruction können jedoch weit über das Ermöglichen eines solchen Dialogs hinausgehen und werden in diesem Kapitel diskutiert.

Initially I thought—as many other people do—that what is taught is learned, but over time I realized that nothing could be further from the truth.

    Es besteht kein Zusammenhang zwischen Clicker und den ebenso bezeichneten Geräuschquellen zum Training von Tieren. Der Unterschied könnte größer nicht sein: Beim Tiertraining geht es um Lernen durch Konditionieren, bei Peer Instruction geht es um Lernen durch soziale Konstruktion.
