Zusammenfassung
Kinder mit einer Hörschädigung erleben besondere Hürden beim Zugang zu Sprache und Kommunikation, die sich auf ihre kognitive, soziale und emotionale Entwicklung auswirken können. Der Zugang zu Sprache, d. h. zur Laut- und/oder Gebärdensprache, ist deswegen für die Gesamtentwicklung von Kindern mit einer Hörschädigung von besonderer Bedeutung. Der vorliegende Beitrag erläutert die Besonderheiten des Spracherwerbs in dieser Gruppe, stellt Methoden der Sprachstandsdiagnostik in Laut- und Gebärdensprache vor und zeigt Förderansätze auf.
