Zusammenfassung

In diesem Beitrag werden Zusammenhänge zwischen Trauma und Schmerzen besprochen. Im Fokus stehen dabei die posttraumatische Belastungsstörung sowie chronische Schmerzen. Zunächst erfolgen einige Anmerkungen zu Epidemiologie, klinischen und diagnostischen Aspekten. Anschließend werden über relevante Befunde der Neurowissenschaften, der klinischen Psychologie und Psychiatrie die beiden Störungsbilder in ihren Zusammenhängen dargestellt.
