  Willi Freeden

Professor Dr. Willi Freeden studierte Mathematik und Geographie an der RWTH Aachen. Dort habilitierte er sich 1980 mit einer Arbeit aus der Mathematischen Geodäsie. Er war Gastprofessor am Geodetic Department der Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. Seit 1994 leitet er in Kaiserslautern die Arbeitsgruppe Geomathematik.
Professor Dr. Reiner Rummel studierte Vermessungswesen an der Technischen Hochschule München. Er wurde 1980 auf eine Professur für Physikalische Geodäsie an die Technische Universität Delft berufen. Von 1993 bis 2009 war er Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Astronomische und Physikalische Geodäsie der Technischen Universität München.
