Abstract

The equations describing force and energy of some physical domains are analog to each other. Therefore, a solution found, for example, for a mechanical system may help finding the corresponding solution for a fluidic system, and an equivalent electrical circuit can approximately describe, for instance, a thermal microsystem. Such equivalent circuits are also helpful to understand a system employing components from different physical domains. All this is briefly described in this chapter.
