Der Human Work Index® (HWI®) 4.0 misst die subjektive Höhe des Arbeitsvermögens einer Mitarbeiterin/eines Mitarbeiters für die gestellten Arbeitsanforderungen und das Führungsvermögen der Führungsverantwortlichen aus der Sicht der Mitarbeiter(innen).

Die Messung erfolgt durch eine Befragung mittels Fragebogen mithilfe eines Auswertungssystems, das die persönlichen Werte mit dem, aus dem humanökologischen Modell der Arbeit abgeleiteten Optimum vergleicht.
