Zusammenfassung
Genauere Ergebnisse, vor allem aber die über den Radius verteilten Kräfte am Rotorblatt, liefert die Blattelemententheorie. Hiermit lässt sich der Einfluss der Anzahl der Rotorblätter, ihres Grundrisses (Verteilung der Profiltiefen, Pfeilung), der Profilierung und Verwindung, der Drehzahl und der Kompressibilität im Detail untersuchen und die Auswirkung auf Schub und Antriebsleistung ermitteln. Die untersuchten Flugzustände sind wieder der Schwebeflug, Steigflug, Sinkflug, Vorwärtsflug und die Autorotation. Was ist ein idealer Rotor und wie unterscheidet er sich vom optimalen Schwebeflugrotor? Wie funktioniert genau die Autorotation? Die lokalen Strömungsverhältnisse geben hier Auskunft über die Physik hinter diesen Fragestellungen. Große Variationen der lokalen Profilanströmung sorgen für breitbandige Dynamik der Luftkräfte. Die heutigen leistungsfähigen Computer ermöglichen hier sehr komplexe Modellierungen der Aerodynamik und der Wirbelsysteme, die – von den Blattspitzen erzeugt – spiralig im Raum sich ausbilden und von nachfolgenden Rotorblättern überflogen oder durchtrennt werden. Sowohl die Leistungsrechnung als auch die Autorotation wird mit Übungsbeispielen vertieft.
