Abstract
One way in which women display a distinct superiority over men in the area of sexual expression is their ability to experience many more orgasms in any given span of time. Not only are women capable of achieving more orgasms than men in a given time interval, but they can also have multiple orgasms during a single act of sexuality, a feat that is possible only for very few males (usually young ones) (Kinsey, 1948). This sex difference in multiple orgasm attainment is due to physiological differences in female and male orgasms (Masters and Johnson, 1966).
