Summary
The exhibition material (1.40 × 11.00 m) is presented in three sections. The first section contains reproductions of old photographic material. It is shown that soon after the invention of photography by Daguerre and Niépée it was introduced for documentation in several hospitals.
The second section shows new methods in medical photography and the production of pictures. The third section demonstrates the daily routine of the photographic laboratory of a surgical hospital.
Zusammenfassung
Die Ausstellung (in der Größe von 1,40 × 11,0 m) ist in drei Abschnitte unterteilt. Im ersten Drittel werden Reproduktionen von alten Aufnahmen gezeigt. Dabei wird deutlich, daß schon bald nach der Erfindung der Photographie durch Daguerre u. Niépée diese neue Kunst in verschiedenen Krankenhäusern zur Dokumentation eingesetzt wurde.
Im mittleren Teil werden die neuesten Möglichkeiten in der medizinischen Photographie gezeigt und deren Herstellung der Aufnahmen erklärt.
Der dritte Abschnitt zeigt an Bildbeispielen die täglich anfallende Arbeit der Fotoabteilung in einer Chirurgischen Klinik.
