Summary
Observations on the influence of static and alternating elctromagnetic fields in wound healing in experimental animals and clinical cases (over 100) are reported. Connective tissue is organized parallel to the magnetic field lines, reparative reactions are accelerated and keloid formation is suppressed.
The spontaneous healing tendency of large burn wounds is enhanced.
A new method of nonsuture magnetic wound closure and magnetic nerve anastomosis is demonstrated.
Zusammenfassung
Es wird über den Einfluß von statistischen Dauermagnetfeldern und elektromagnetischen Wechselfeldern auf die Wundheilung auf Grund tierexperimenteller und klinischer Untersuchung berichtet.
Einflüsse auf das Bindegewebe im Sinne der Ausrichtung, früheren Ausreifung und Unterdrückung der Keloidbildung werden beobachtet, ebenso eine günstigere Spontanepithelisierung bei großflächigen Verbrennungen und trophischen Ulcéra. Ein neuartiger magnetischer Wundverschluß und eine magnetische Nervenanastomose werden vorgestellt.
