Abstract

In this chapter we revisit the gluing constructions described in Chapter 1.5 and ask under what circumstances one can deduce that the spaces obtained by gluing are of curvature ≤ κ. Our purpose in doing so is to equip the reader with techniques for building interesting new spaces of curvature ≤ κ out of the basic examples supplied in Chapters 5, 10 and 12.
